Poem: Lonely Little Robot

Little robot, rusting alone,
resting on the grass,
how corroded your chromium has become,
how green your copper plating.

Lonely robot, lying here,
how long you must have waited,
how solitary your station,
out here in the sun.

Arise, spurned automaton
and no longer be alone.
Come be with comrades and compatriots
and know kindness, compassion and love.
